The Methods section describes usually three subsection participants (who did you investigate?), Materials (What did you use?) and Procedures (How did you collect the data?). The Methods section of the paper from the Class Research Project should describe a Participants sub-section and identify responders of the survey as students at UNO (details on average age, gender breakdown etc. will be in the results section). The Materials sub-section should describe the survey from which we recorded data including a brief summary of the kinds of variables that were collected.
